In customizing mode, the handling of margin, borders, and border‑radius is overlooked in compact mode and full screen mode, and possibly also in tiled mode.

Thank you for the report. We are likely to remove the outer margin and borders from the browser window generally with bug 2062351, so the main thing for us to do on this bug would be to ensure we're an appropriate border-radius on #customization-container that matches what we do with the main content area.
