Mozilla Firebird crashes when one attempts to print or print preview the page.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Visit http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/today/email/stars_form.shtml 
2. Select "Print" or "Print Preview" on the "File" menu

Actual Results:  
Firebird crashes (with a "has generated errors" message in MS Windows)

Expected Results:  
Bring up the Print dialog box or Print Preview window

I am unable to duplicate the BBC web page crash on my systems, but I have a page:

http://www.marine.usm.edu/hydro/curric/req.htm

that consistently crashes Mozilla 1.3 and Firebird 0.6 on Windows, Mac OSX, and
Linux when file->print or file->print preview is selected.

I was able to reproduce the error on these systems:

Windows 2000: Mozilla 1.3.1, Firebird 0.6
Mac OSX (10.2.6): Mozilla 1.4b, Firebird 0.6
Linux: Mozilla 1.3

This is a trunk issue with Seamonkey, not specific to Firebird.

Replicated with attached testcase on:

The problems with printing with the two pages appear to be different, so the new
one should probably be filed seperately.

The orignal bug still exists in Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US;
rv:1.4b) Gecko/20030516 Mozilla Firebird/0.6 .

Joe, we're definitely working two separate issues now.  The testcase may apply
to bug 194330 though.  However, I've used the same build/platform as you and
cannot replicate the crash on print or print preview.  I've also used the latest
nightly to test and still nothing.

Can you create a new profile and install a fresh copy of Firebird into a new
directory and retest?

I have tested with a totally clean install and profile of MFB 0.6 on MS Windows
2000.  I do not have a recent nightly build to test ATM.  I will try to test in
GNU/Linux.

I cannot reproduce the bug with Mozilla Navigator.

Joe, I noted later that this is actually two separate bugs.  I just filed bug
208590 to address the second crasher with the testcase.

bug 194330 was another print crash bug that is now fixed, you may want to try a
current nightly build for Firebird to test this, except the URL no longer exists
at the location above.  Any chance of finding a similar URL with the same problem?

OK. Thanks for that info.  I can now download a nightly build but the page no
longer exists and the good ol' BBC (who I'm reminded I was going to file a tech
evang bug about) do not seem to have an archive of it.  The page should still be
in my cache at college so I'll check it on Monday with a nightly build.

Printing crashes consistently happen for me in Windows 98 in Firebird 0.6 as
well.  The June 09, 2003 nightly does it too.  One page that constantly crashes
when trying to print is http://www.kuro5hin.org/print/2003/6/4/63838/70040

time a cursory glance) and cannot find a similar page.
