Steps to reproduce:

PDF copying doesn't work

Actual results:

PDF copying doesn't work

Expected results:

There should be an option to copy. It hasn't been working properly with the address book for a few years now. That's by the way.

Does that apply to all pdfs or just some?
Which way are you copying? Do you mean lack of context menu to copy?

all PDF, additionally, it prints blank pages directly from the application, For several years now, nothing has been done to make it work properly with the address book on Mac.

Print blank is bug 2057444 (fixed for 155).
You didn't answer the question: which way are you copying?

Re address book: you can add your icloud.com address book just fine AFAIK, but that would be totally unrelated to this bug.

You cannot select any text in a PDF to copy it.

If you open in in Firefox 154, is it the same?

Summary: Thunderbird 154.0 On Mac OS Tahoe, copying text from PDF stopped working. → Thunderbird 154.0 On Mac OS Tahoe, cannot select any text in a PDF to copy it.

I tested a pdf that works in Thunderbird 140esr and Firefox 153.0.4. It fails with Thunderbird 154 beta and 155 nightly

Hmm, selecting text seems to be working for me on linux/daily. But the selection is not shown - if I copy with context menu the text copies over.

Same in Firefox 154/155/nightly?
