User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030529 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030529 Hi, The keyboard shortcut Ctrl++ to "Zoom Text Larger" does not work when the Shift key is depressed to get the plus "+" character. The keyboard shortcut Ctrl+- "Zoom Text Smaller" does work, because the Shift key does not need to be depressed to get to the minus "-" character. The keyboard shortcut Ctrl++ to "Zoom Text Larger" DOES work when "Num Lock" is set, and the plus "+" character is depressed on the Number pad on the keyboard. This behavior occurs in both Windows 2000 and Windows XP, with Mozilla 1.3.1 and 1.4.1RC1 The Ctrl++ (with Shift) also works under RedHat Linux 9 with Mozilla 1.3.1 and 1.4.1RC1 Thanks for a great Browser!!! Robert A. Clark Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Use the Shift key to access the keyboard shortcut Ctrl++ to "Zoom Text Larger". 2. 3. Actual Results: The text size did not change. Expected Results: Increased the text size.
Confirmed: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030604 <Ctrl>+ doesn't work but <Ctrl>= does when using the top row keys. Possibly a documentation problem. The help indicates: Zoom Text Larger - Windows - Ctrl+= (plus sign) The intent of using Ctrl+= (<Ctrl>=) as an easier key combination is obvious but confusing in the help when "(plus sign)" is mentioned. Perhaps adding an additional shortcut for Ctrl++ (<Ctrl><Shift><+/=>) is needed.
Confirming with Firebird 0.6 and Seamonkey trunk build 2003052908 on Windows XP. This once worked (see bug 70141) so this is a regression. This belongs to Browser/Keyboard Navigation. Bug 198233 seems related.

I see this in 1.5, but not in 1.8a, I think bug 197474 fixed this too. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 197474 ***
