when downloading a file, the default extension is normally .cfg when entering the filename into the download manager

When i'm downloading a file, normally every 3-5 times the download file name
will appear and mozilla will append .cfg to that filename.. for instance..
foo.zip.cfg which means i have to remove that .cfg part
Reproducible: Sometimes

Expected Results:
used the filename of foo.zip instead.. I don't know where the .cfg is coming from

It's coming from the entry in your helper app preferences mapping
application/octet-stream to that extension. You may want to remove that entry...
