For some people, it's unncessary to have multiple inboxes, sent boxes etc
showing up in the Mail UI. I'd like an option to have an inbox for each mail
account, but to have only one Darft,Sent,Trash,Templates folder (under Local Mail).
The other folders are, to me, a waste of screen space, and I'd like to be able
to remove them.

This problem was much more severe before I discovered that once can create
outgoing mail accounts as newgroup accounts and this doesn't make them appear 
first in the the mail folder pane. I have a (probably common) configuration
where I have 4 outgoing identities, but all my mail arrives in a single inbox.
