Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624 When I install Mozilla, I do not use the mail client or do a lot of chatting - hence, I do not install those components. However, after install (and enabling of QuickLaunch) the system tray icon has a context menu that shows options for a default list of components - not just the installed ones. For example, I get the option "Mail & Newsgroups" even though the mail component is not installed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Mozilla without Mail & Newsgroups. 2. Make sure QuickLaunch is enabled. 2. After install, right-click on the system tray icon for Mozilla. 3. An option for "Mail & Newsgroups" is shown, even though it is not installed. Actual Results: The option for "Mail & Newsgroups" is shown and is active (I can choose it). Expected Results: Mozilla should either: omit items that were not installed from this menu OR gray out menu items for uninstalled components so they cannot be selected (as View->Stop is grayed out when the current page is fully loaded). As I don't believe other OS's besides Windows have similar icons with the right-click context menu, this should only apply to installations on the Windows platform. Correct me if I'm wrong, though - I haven't gotten around to installing Linux on another partition of my hard drive yet.
