This is a suggested enhancement in mozilla...

The download manager in mozilla is very useful tool. However it currently shows
only limited information - file name, download progress, remaining time,
transferred bytes and speed.

I think what would really make it useful is if it also displays the website url
from which the file was downloaded and the date/time it was downloaded on.

A lot of times I look at the file I had downloaded and I would want to
re-download it.  So it would also be useful if there was a right click option on
the file which allows the user to re-download the file from the same url.

You can have the download manager display the URL from which the file was
downloaded.  In the download mangar, on the row where you see 'name',
'progress',etc. left-click on the right most column.  This displays a menu. 
Clickin on 'source' will add a column to display the URL.

As far as displaying the date/time of the download, there is already a bug filed
on that: bug 180623.

For redownloading files again, there is bug 164878.
