When selecting a new theme from the View -> Apply Theme menu, and then going
back to select another theme from View -> Apply theme the menu no longer
expands. In my case, it was selecting an old theme and was asked to uninstall, I
chose OK. When selecting a theme normally (Compatible), the menu works.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Select an incompatible theme from View -> Apply theme menu
2.Choose OK, to uninstall the theme
3.Goto View -> Apply theme and the menu no longer expands.
Actual Results:
The menu fails to expand
Expected Results:
The menu expands, allowing selection of a theme
I'm using July 26 2003 nightly

The "new theme" at the end of the summary is a typo I meant to delete.

With so many duplicates, why is this still unconfirmed?

I get this on WinXP, 1.7b RC1 (build id 2004042109). Installing a (compatible)
theme then switching to it in "Edit -> Preferences" allows the View -> Apply
Theme menu to expand.

MASS-CHANGE:
This bug report is registered in the SeaMonkey product, but has been without a comment since the inception of the SeaMonkey project. This means that it was logged against the old Mozilla suite and we cannot determine that it's still valid for the current SeaMonkey suite. Because of this, we are setting it to an UNCONFIRMED state.
If you can confirm that this report still applies to current SeaMonkey 2.x nightly builds, please set it back to the NEW state along with a comment on how you reproduced it on what Build ID, or if it's an enhancement request, why it's still worth implementing and in what way.
If you can confirm that the report doesn't apply to current SeaMonkey 2.x nightly builds, please set it to the appropriate RESOLVED state (WORKSFORME, INVALID, WONTFIX, or similar).
If no action happens within the next few months, we move this bug report to an EXPIRED state.

This can't be easily tested until a Seamonkey 2.x release changes the theme version. The profile migration doesn't bring over incompatible themes. ;-)
However, with the toolkit addon manager code disabling incompatible themes at startup, this is a moot point.
