Seamonkey Mail/News has this, but it's missing in Thunderbird 0.1. I think this button is much more useful than the Stop-button for example. Furthermore with the Toolbar Customization in place everyone who fears dataloss by accidentally clicking this button could just remove it from the toolbar. So there is no reason not to include it IMHO.
? It's on the toolbar and it is calld 'Delete' with a big red X.

You are right. Sorry for the rash bug report. Somehow my profile got broken. The button is there when I create a new profile. I don't know why I can't get the button in the profile I used before. All other buttons are available.
