Search Bar in new profiles defaults to "find in page" - should default to Google search. Also, add a keybinding to pop open the engine switcher, e.g. Ctrl+Down Arrow.

I'd like that too. If I want to use page search its easier to just hit Ctrl + F.
This would be nice for 0.7 because often, when getting new builds, I search for something and keep pressing enter and no feedback and realize I forgot to switch to Google. If you just had Google and no Find in this Page like Safari would be better because someone might switch to Google to Find in this Page and trying to Google but forgot they're on Find in This page and get mad because of no feedback maybe for Search Bar UI you could add feedback for Find in This Page toolbar since find in this page window gives feedback

I made Google the default.

This would be as natural as your fingers...I keep hitting the ctrl+down arrow button after every ctrl+k...wishing it could work in 0.7...
I think users shouldn't have to manually delete files to remove search plugins from Firebird. A better solution would be to add a context menu with a delete option to the search bar drop down menu.
> Also, add a keybinding to pop open the engine switcher, e.g. Ctrl+Down > Arrow. Pierre implemented this a while back.
Unless there are any other search bar UI issues this bug should be marked fixed. Both Ctrl+Down/Up and the Google default have been implemented. The only other thing I can think of relating to this is that a method of removing search engines from the browser without deleting the files from your Firefox folder is needed for non power users.
I think bug 176675 is related, because it deals with dragging text to the search box and automatically searching. (I would say that bug is blocking this one, but what do I know?) -[Unknown]
what is not fixed here?
I don't know of any further planned changes here. Marking fixed.
