But it would be very conveniant if we had a subfoldersHaveNewMessages-true as I and many more (I suppose) have the situation that (as a result from subscribing to several very active mailinglists) we have have many unread mails in subfolders but are only interested in *new* mails. With this flag we can e g mark a folder that contains subfolders with new messages with an icon unique for that (or use the same as for todays "new messages in folder" icon). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. (OT: There is a need to document which "atoms" that are supposed to work and doesn't so we (I) don't spam bugzilla unnecessarily.)
This shouldn't be hard to add. Is it still needed?
