I tried and can not confirm the problem exactly as described, but something similar: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624 Mozilla Calendar 2003061213-cal steps to reproduce: 1. open Calendar with Task View 2. make Task View smaller and smaller until it is quite nearby to collapse 3. try "next month arrow" in the small month calendar view. might be you will see some months shown correctly and some others where the days at the right side are mising (as "September 2003" in my attachment) Because it seems that there is a problem (which looks different for different users) i label this bug NEW. I too can reproduce the missing Saturday column in September. After additional experimentation I noticed that months with long names will drop the Saturday column if resized too small. As well, the right side of the month name and year overlaps the Tasks' handle and the next month arrow disappears. The following is a summary of how the small calendar reacts to each month selected: January: Saturday column missing and month/year text overlaps edge February: Saturday column missing and month/year text overlaps edge March: Normal April: Normal May: Normal June: Normal July: Normal August: Saturday column and month/year text overlaps edge September: Friday and Saturday columns missing and month/year text overlaps edge October: Saturday column missing and month/year text overlaps edge November: Friday column and month/year text overlaps edge and Saturday column missing December: Friday column and month/year text overlaps edge and Saturday column missing Furthermore, I noticed that when moving backwards through the months the month name and year that overlaps the Tasks' handle doesn't get repainted.

One more result for "September": If I first go to September and than make the "sidebar" smaller, the right dates (saturday) remain visible as shown in attachment (id=129059). If I first decrease size and then go to September, behavior as Comment #2 From Rainer Bielefeld 2003-08-03 00:51 Rainer

Still occurs in trunk: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b4pre) Gecko/2008021618 Calendar/0.6a1

Still occurs on branch as well: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.13pre) Gecko/20080216 Calendar/0.8pre Note: The overflow looks slightly different on trunk and branch. For branch, the "8" in the year "2008" gets cut off, but not for trunk.

One cause for this is the increased Minimonth width reported in Bug 403056.
