The Installer represents itself as installer of "Netscape Seamonkey", defaults to "%PROGRAMDIR%\Netscape\Seamonkey" and creates "Netscape Seamoney/Netscape Mozilla" icon (did I forget something? :-) ). Disclaimer: I understand, that the installer roots in the commercial Seamonkey installer and that this bug is a leftover. I'm happy, that we have an installer for Mozilla now.

Linking to metabug #14532. Isn't this installer customized by a text file? Is it in the tree?
yes it is a customizable text field. There are, however, many other places that reference "Netscape". I will try to weed them out and replace them with something more appropriate for the mozilla installer. Let's use this bug to track all of the references to "Netscape".

Reopening. By default, the installer still puts Mozilla in <C:\Program Files\Netscape\Seamonkey>, when it should be <C:\Program Files\Mozilla\Seamonkey>.

Clearing FIXED resolution due to reopening. (Go vote for bug 4243!) But while I'm here, I forgot to mention the build: 1999122308.
fixed. The path has been updated to not contain "netscape". To vefify this, you'll have to run RegEdit.exe and remove the following key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Netscape\Netscape Seamonkey Yes, I know. There's still "Netscape" here. This is a different problem. This is not visible. It's only in the windows registry.
