Details

I have 3 addressbooks in use: Personal, Collected (specified in Tools/Options/Advanced), and an LDAP lookup. When I'm typing an email address in the composition window, the email auto-completion appears to look in the addressbooks in the order: Collected, Personal, LDAP. I'm basing this on the ordering of names in the list. I think the order is not optimal; I'd personally prefer to see: Personal, Collected, LDAP; or even: Personal, LDAP, Collected. Since the Personal addressbook is the only one I manually edit, I know it's right, and I want its entries to "override" the ones in the Collected ab. Personal should be first, it seems to me. For example, I have a friend who's recently changed their email address. My Personal ab reflects the new email, but every time I start typing their name in the To field, Thunderbird brings up the old email address, because it's in my Collected ab. The correct email does appear, but it's further down the list, after all the Collected addresses. I could edit it out of the Collected ab, but surely I shouldn't have to do this? For maximum flexbility, a pref would help, but failing that, I feel the current default isn't the best choice.
