User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030728 Mozilla Firebird/0.6.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030728 Mozilla Firebird/0.6.1 When open a link in a new window or a new tab, the URL of the page I am trying to visit is not in the address bar after a connection error occurs (Cannot find website, time out, etc.). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Visit http://www.wsu.edu/~brians/errors/errors.html 2. Try to open one of the links in a new window or tab. 3. Wait for the connection to time out (you may have to visit a different site to get a "broken" link.). 4. Notice the lack of the URL in the address bar. Actual Results: There was no URL in the address bar. Expected Results: The URL of the page I was trying to visit should have been in the address bar so I can either try again or correct a mistake. Also, there should be some visible way or reminding me that an error occured. For example, the icon the the left of the URL could change into a yellow triangle with an exclimation point in it. The statuc bar could also retain the error message that appeared in the message box.
