User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR 1.0.3705; .NET CLR 1.1.4322) Build Identifier: Thunderbird 0.2a (20030813) The menu items for clearing the Junk folder and emptying the Trash are inconsistently placed. Would like them placed consistently (duplicate if necessary). See steps below for the rather complicated workflow I have to use to get rid of Junk mail. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Select Junk folder. 2. Choose Tools > Delete Mail Marked as Junk in Folder. 3. Right click on Trash, choose Empty Trash. Actual Results: Mail is removed, as expected. Expected Results: See "additional info" for recommended enhancements. Plan A (ideal IMHO): Add a right-click menu item on the Junk folder that says "Empty Junk" and gets rid of mail immediately. (Does not move to Trash.) Plan B (still acceptable, but not as nice): Add a right-click menu item on the Junk folder that says "Delete Mail Marked as Junk in Folder." Also would be nice (in addition to A & B): Add a menu item under Tools that says "Empty Trash" for consistency with the placement of the existing Junk handling items.
