Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030715 Mozilla Firebird/0.6 StumbleUpon/1.81 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030715 Mozilla Firebird/0.6 StumbleUpon/1.81 Don't know if this is a support question or a bug…However, after installing a lot of useful extensions (e.g., Tabbrowser Extensions and Tabbrowser Preferences) clicking a http-address in an external application (like Eudora, First Class or ICQ) or using the "open http://my.url" in the terminal does not load the page in Firebird. Firebird gets focus and the cursor changes to the arrow with the black & white-wait wheel and remains so until I move the mouse when it reverts back to the normal arrow, but the page never loads. I have disabled all the extensions I installed and restarted Firebird. I also has removed all lines containing anything with "tab" in them in prefs.js but the problems remain. There is no output in the Console. After installing all extensions I changed some settings in Firebird. The settings I suspect are most related to this problem was related to tabbed browsing, I wanted new and pop-up windows to open in new tabs rather than in new windows. Furthermore, installing these tabbed browsing extensions enabled cmd-click and middle-click to open a new tab (which has never worked for me in Firebird). I believe these are all details I know of, let me know if you have some questions, Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.

Reporter, Please try with a clean install and a clean profile. If things work there then this bug is INVALID as the problem lies with a bad extension. Please then reinstall the extensions you are using 1 by one and retest each time to see which one is causing the problem and then notify that extensions author of the problem. Leaving bug open for now to allow for response on the first point (working with clean install)
