On the main window page of Mozilla Thunderbird, in the messages preview pane, 
Clicking on any URL Links, does nothing. Email address's work OK. I expect 
clicking to bring up Mozilla Firebird with the URL in the address window. I am 
using Mandrake Linux 9.2 beta 2. I don't believe it to be a Mandrake problem. 
In using Kmail, the links work correctly.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open Mozilla Thunderbird
2.open any email
3.if the email has a URL reference in it, click or double-click on it.

Actual Results:  
Does nothing

Expected Results:  
opened URL in another window with the specified default browser.

can someone dup this agains the implment LaunchUrl for linux?

reporter, it helps if you read the release notes under known issues before
filing bugs.
