Currently thunderbird 0.3 work is occurring on the mozilla 1.5 branch.

There are a lot of trunk fixes which I want in 0.3 but we don't want in moz 1.5
because they are too risky.

This bug is a tracking bug to keep a list of all of the patches I'm putting into
my 0.3 release builds so other build contributors can get these patches too.

Before we ship, thunderbird 0.3 will move to its own branch and we'll check all
of these bug fixes directly into that branch.

My suggestions are:
bug 32157 [RFE] Title tips (tooltips) for cropped text
          (probably the biggest UI *blooper* in mozilla)
bug 91662 Long strings in mail header cause scroll bars and attachment 
          window to disappear, making message unviewable.
          (very visible bug - second biggest mozilla blooper)
Bug 16489 Password Protection of Profiles
          (much asked for by regular folk'. Has patch!)
Bug 73567 Ability to select from multiple signatures (global / per account?)
          (http://mozillapl.mozdev.org/ has a decent patch for this)
Bug 219344 Use Quote-Level Colors (Text & Background) by default
Bug 73562  View -> Messages -> Watched Threads (ALL - not just the unread ones)
Bug 64647  Paste without Formatting" (plain text) on context menus and edit menu

BONUS REQUEST:
Bug 11054  Ignore (kill) a Branch of a Thread (not just the whole thread)(Troll)

several of these bugs also need to be available for mac/macOS, but since i'm not owner, i can't 
change HW/OS to 'All'

I suggest to also include the patch for bug 36816 "news should use the server's
username / password when authenticating" into Thunderbird 0.3.
This bug made newsreading unbearable for many users.

fix now.

What about adding bug 212937 (incorrect login <username>@<servername> instead of
just <username>) to this list?  Though it's just a ui issue, the past showed
that this is confusing for some users.

How about adding bug 33282, which would enable Linux and MacOS X users to have
working http(s) links? I know, GUI support for setting the appropriate valuesis
still missing, but we could certainly include some description for how to do
this (I would be very happy to help you with this). It would make a long awaited
feature available for non-Windows users...

Scott, do you still want all of that here or is this obsolete, since 0.3 has
shipped already.
