links of the form mailto:user@host.domain?subject=this is a subject Do not bring
up a compose window in Tunderbird. This is becuase when the -compose flag was
added to the mailto open command in the registry enties the double quotes
surrounding the %1 were also removed. These double quotes are necessary so that
links with spaces in the subject work correctly. I used regedit to manually
change all the .../THUNDE~1.EXE -compose %1 to ...\THUNDE~1/EXE -compose "%1"
and verified that making this change appears to correct the issue.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Register Thunderbird as your default mail client
2. Form you browser enter the URL mailto:user@host.domain?subject=this is a subject
3.
Actual Results:
Nothing
Expected Results:
Opened a compose window

for simplicity sake, I put a new patch in Bug #214158 which puts quotes around
the %1. That should fix this problem.
Going to mark this bug a dupe and just use the other bug for checking the entire
patch in under.
