Actually, this isn't a dupe of that bug at all. It's a separate issue. Keith is pointing out the comment on the outside part of the back button (the down arrow, not the left arrow) says "go back one page", when actually it allows you to go back many. Very minor issue, and maybe a WONTFIX, but not a dupe. Reopening.

I'm adding the comment just to make easier to find if someone uses "go forward one page", because it is wrong too.

Asrail, don't set the 'Priority' field! It is a developer-only field.

As previously reported, the tooltip for the history dropdown on the back button says "go back one page", when it can go back many. In addition to this, every item under the dropdown also shows a tooltip saying "go back one page". I'm not sure if this is part of the same bug or should be lodged as a new one...
The better option is to open a new bug, because they're related but they aren't the same. No need to bother since the bug I cited is fixed (at least in Deer Park - 1.1a).

(In reply to comment #5) > As previously reported, the tooltip for the history dropdown on the back button > says "go back one page", when it can go back many. That's this bug. > In addition to this, every item under the dropdown also shows a tooltip saying > "go back one page". That's bug 209314, which was somewhat changed after bug 147670 was fixed. See bug 209314 comment 19.
Summary: Tooltip over arrow next to Back button erroneously says "Go back one page" → Tooltip over arrow next to Back button erroneously says "Go back one page" (instead of something like "show drop down")
In Firefox 3.0 on Windows XP, I get "Recent pages" as the tooltip on the down arrow next to the Back button. Can anyone give steps to reproduce the original problem in any build of Firefox 3.x?
same on linux -> wfm in fx3
