I will have to try with it closed and let you know. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Click on a url in a mail message. 2. 3.
I just tried it with Firebird closed and it will open the url with no problems. I only get this error when Firebird is already open.

This seems to be a dup of bug 210553
It does appear to be a duplicate. I was not able to find that original bug. I have now marked this as a duplicate. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 210553 ***
