Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.6a) Gecko/20030925 Firebird/0.7+
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.6a) Gecko/20030925 Firebird/0.7+
When Firebird is running on a secondary monitor and a URL is selected from the
toolbar drop down list. Firebird doesn't attempt to go to the selected site.
This works fine from the primary monitor. Note: If the firebird window is split
between two monitors and you click the drop down, it will work if the drop down
appears on the primary monitor, but will not work if the drop down appears on
the secondary monitor.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Move Firebird to a secondary monitor
2. Select an item from the URL Drop Down
3.
Actual Results:
Firebird did not load the requested site.
Expected Results:
Gone to the selected site.
Mozilla does not appear to have the same problem. I tried this on the latest
build with a fresh installation.

The URL Bar dropdown appears to function correctly if Firebird is maximized on
the secondary window.
Also, the note regarding the Mozilla tests and "latest build" might appear to be
related, but they are not. I did test with Mozilla and did not see the problem.
The latest build I refered to was of Firebird.

I am running with two monitors and the URL drop-down works on both of them. I
am running 20040130/0.7+ on Windows XP.

Updated to 0.8.0+ (Gecko/20040131 Firebird/0.7). Problem appears to be somewhat
corrected. If I click on the dropdown and scroll to my selection without
letting up the mouse button it works (I am pretty sure this did not work
before). If I click on Drop-down arrow and release and select an item from the
drop-down it reloads the currently displayed page.

I tried it maximized/non-maximized with/without holding the mouse button down on
the primary/secondary monitors. Everything functions normally. I upgraded to
0.8.0+ also: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7a)
Gecko/20040131 Firebird/0.7+, and still no luck.
Perhaps this is unique to Windows 2000, but not found on XP?
Also, I only have the five buttons (back, forward, refresh, cancel, home) and
the address bar, then a row of shortcuts below that. Small Icons, Icons Only.
Really compact. I wonder if that may have something to do with it as well?
The Error occurs, if the primary Monitor is settled on the right Position
(2. Monitor Left).
I think it is a Problem of negativ pixel - coordinates
