User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030728 Mozilla Firebird/0.6.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla Thunderbird 0.4a (20030929)
Appears to be related to 219540 (Win2k) and 220662 (Mac), but with slightly
different behaviour. Backtrace included with 220662 looks at a glance to be very
similar.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Select Tools | Message Filters
2.Select an existing filter
3.Click Edit (or double-click the existing filter)
Actual Results:
Segment violation (Signal 11 SIGSEGV )
Unlike the other examples, where the crash occurred after changes were made to
the existing filter, this crash occurs instantly when editing is attempted,
before the dialog for filter modification is presented.
Expected Results:
Presented the dialog for modifying an existing message filter.
I will attach a capture script containing the execution of the startup script
and the eventual backtrace. Linux locked up entirely when the trace got to 81
items; the captured script was not completely saved and is therefore incomplete.
I'm new to this project. If anyone has suggestions on ways to be of more help,
please feel free to advise.

Backtrace reached 81 items before Linux crashed altogether. This is what was
saved to the capture script.
