When opening the options UI, one of the category icons on the left is already
displayed in a light blue square (like while hovering the mouve cursor over it).
The exact icon that is displayed this way changes. Furthermore, if I select
another category (focus coloring changing correctly to dark blue at the selected
cat) and then select the cat displayed formerly in light blue, the focus
coloring doesn't change correctly - the previous selection stays dark blue, the
new selection gets colored light blue. In spite of this, the categories are
changing correctly on the right side of the options UI.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.click 'Tools'->'Options'
2.select any but the category colored light blue
3.select the formerly light blue category
Actual Results:
the dark-blue focus stays on the previous selection, the new selection gets
light blue
Expected Results:
the new selection should get dark blue, the previous should lose all focus colors

anothe oddball focus bug with that menu
Status: UNCONFIRMED → NEW
Ever confirmed: true
This may or may not be the same issue. In recent builds (using 20031114
currently), when you open the Options panel the General icon will always have
the light blue color that the icons get when the mouse is hovering over them.
However, the active pane will be the one that was active the last time you
closed the options dialog and it will correctly have the dark blue coloring on
its icon. So there are essentially two icons that look selected, albeit in
different shades of blue.
This was the closest bug I could find, not sure whether it warrants opening a
new bug or not.

Choose "web features" under options and close the options dailog. Open the
options again, both "general" and "web features" will be highlighted.
So the problem is that "general" takes focus anyway.

Shouldn't this bug be duped to 221585 which is earlier and has a much better
description of all the issues here?
