The default start page should, in addition to the current "Congratulations!"
message, list available extensions for the Mozilla Browser, in order of
popularity, and with a brief description.
This would allow features which many people use, but which are not vital to the
browser, to be made into extensions, thus reducing the size of the original
download package. First-time users would be able to easily and immediately
install features they like the look of.

see http://www.mozilla.org/start/1.4/
There's user start page only for 1.0.x and 1.4.x. We don't have enough resources
to maintain more start pages -> wontfix
contributions always welcome.

I was thinking more for Firebird, in relation to bug 216501 comment 66

Greg, then we need a user start page for Firebird. Can you discuss with David
Tenser and other Firebird users on whether we should use David's site or whether
the users should get together to build a start page? If you think you have
enough volunteers to do this, reopen this bug and file a separate bug for tracking.
