Files in "latest-trunk" have wrong dates

Details
If you look at ftp://ftpmoz.newaol.com (to rule out mirror issues), you will notice that the date on the "mozilla-win32-talkback.zip" is listed as "10/25/2003 9:24:00 AM." But, when you actually download the file and install it you find out that it's a 20031024 build. It wasn't created on 10/25 after all. This can be verified by checking the MD5 of that file: 0DF5D142EDA6305C8255591CB9B969FA. It's the same MD5 as the "mozilla-win32-talkback.zip" in the /pub/mozilla/nightly/2003-10-24-04-trunk/ directory with a modified date of "10/24/2003 9:50:00 AM." This *is* new behavior within the last week. Why are files that have not been modified in the "latest*" directories having their dates changed so that they have the appearance of being created on a different date than they actually were? This makes downloading appropriate builds for testing more difficult because you can't see what you are getting.

ftpmoz.newaol.com is no longer in use. If they even still have Mozilla files on them I'm shocked. :) Those servers belong to AOL, and they supposedly don't provide us with mirror service anymore.

Apparently, it's still part of Mozilla's round robin, and it's offering up
mis-labelled builds. Since Jerry got to it when trying to download today's
build - I don't see how this can be anything but a valid bug to be corrected...
(Unless yet another bug needs to be opened to remove that server from the round
robin - or this one should be morphed to address the real issue?)

# host ftp.mozilla.org ftp.mozilla.org has address 128.193.0.3 ftp.mozilla.org has address 129.79.6.160 ftp.mozilla.org has address 130.207.108.134 ftp.mozilla.org has address 204.152.184.113 # host 128.193.0.3 3.0.193.128.in-addr.arpa domain name pointer ftp.oregonstate.edu. # host 129.79.6.160 160.6.79.129.in-addr.arpa domain name pointer mozilla.ussg.indiana.edu. # host 130.207.108.134 134.108.207.130.in-addr.arpa domain name pointer tricia.cc.gatech.edu. # host 204.152.184.113 113.184.152.204.in-addr.arpa domain name pointer mozilla.isc.org. I don't see ftpmoz.newaol.com in there anywhere. If someone got it for ftp.mozilla.org then they either have a DNS server with a really outdated cache file or they have it in their local hosts file.

Um. The dates are wrong on ALL of the servers. I only used the AOL server with the presumption that the mirrors got their files from there.

ah. Nope, AOL has nothing to do with anything except NNTP anymore. The "master source" is now stage.mozilla.org, which I don't believe has a publicly accessible FTP. On stage.mozilla.org: [root@axolotl latest]# ls -alF mozilla-win32-talkback.zip -rw-r--r-- 1 cltbld mozilla 11056732 Oct 25 06:24 mozilla-win32-talkback.zip [root@axolotl latest]# md5sum mozilla-win32-talkback.zip 0df5d142eda6305c8255591cb9b969fa mozilla-win32-talkback.zip [root@axolotl 2003-10-24-04-trunk]# ls -alF mozilla-win32-talkback.zip -rw-r--r-- 1 cltbld mozilla 11056732 Oct 24 06:50 mozilla-win32-talkback.zip [root@axolotl 2003-10-24-04-trunk]# md5sum mozilla-win32-talkback.zip 0df5d142eda6305c8255591cb9b969fa mozilla-win32-talkback.zip Yep, there's a discrepancy here....
