There are no Solaris nightly builds being put up on the web site any more. The
last Solaris 2.6 build was a week ago, and the last Solaris 2.7 build was at the
beginning of September. Soalris 8 and 9 don't get their own nightly builds, but
the Solars 2.6 version usually works.

-> Staging.
Leaf, do we need a more-specific component for this? seems to be a lot of
build-related stuff lately, and it's not exactly "Staging"....
Component: webmaster@mozilla.org → FTP: Staging

I think the most recent nightly is from Oct 22, 2003:
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mozilla/nightly/2003-10-20-22-trunk/mozilla-sparc-sun-solaris2.6.tar.gz
I've also mirrored it here (for when the old nightlies eventually get purged.)

Oops, I meant Oct 20 (at 2200 hours).
Were the Solaris nightlies built by mozilla.org or were they contributed by
someone else? If the former, any idea which machine was building them?

The 2.6(SPARC+x86) builds were done by Mozilla.org build using gcc (BTW: ...
which isn't recommended since those builds are horrible slow compared to the Sun
Workshop builds).
The 2.7/SPARC were done from my side, I am doing new builds (likely for 2.8
(first SPARC, and when the build scripts become mature x86/IA32 will follow)
since that's Sun only supports Mozilla on Solaris 8 and later, not Solaris 7
(see http://xprint.mozdev.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=3353#c24)) starting with next
week (no promises yet, I still have to find time to setup a new machine for that
task).
Solaris 2.7 builds can be done if there is still demand for that (I would have
to poke Sun staff to send me installation CDs and fetch another box from Ebay),
but not 2.6 - that version is EOL'ed (2.7 is now the lowest OS version
maintained by Sun).

keyboard for that machine - after that new Solaris nightlies will be shipped...

Will you please build them with support for both PostScript and Xprint printing
support.

Yes... keyboard for the old machine arrived last saturday + someone donated a
2nd, newer box... scripts are mainly done except the problem that I need a way
that the script surrives a DSL disconnect/reconnect cycle during cvs checkout
(currently the checkout simply hangs forever... ;-( ).
ETA: I'll start the cycle for SPARC this weekend when I can watch the build loop
round the clock (that I can abort it when something goes wrong... ;-/). If SPARC
is OK and stable then x86 will follow the following weekend.

Great! And will you please build it with both PS and Xprint support?

Any updates to this? A gmake error is showing up in the logs on bismark.

We've Solaris 10 nightly builds for firefox/thunderbird for a couple of months.
(Recently, we have to disable svg, because cairo-gfx is very unstable on Solaris 10.)
Bug fixed.
