User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6a) Gecko/20031101 Firebird/0.7+
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6a) Gecko/20031101 Firebird/0.7+
Firebird expands keyworded bookmarks into full URL forms. Mozilla's behavior is
preferable.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make a bookmark keyword for Google (or whatever).
Name: Google
URL: http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=%s
Keyword: google
2. Type "google Firebird" in URL bar. (not in search bar)
3. Expand the type URL history by clicking a dropmarker right of the URL bar.
Actual Results:
The following (or similar) entry is added in the typed URL history.
http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=Firebird
Expected Results:
The following entry is more preferable.
google Firebird
This makes it hard to edit the previously executed query. If the expanded URI is
quite long and complex, more work is required to edit and re-run the query.

Same occurs in the Mac version, so should probably be set to All. I'm not sure
if this is a true bug, though, or more a preferred way of doing things.

Setting to All/All, and severity to minor.
Severity: normal → minor
OS: Windows XP → All

I would love it if typing 'goog f' made the address bar dropdown menu drop and
show me 'goog firefox' and 'goog fun camping trip' instead of nothing. Just a
matter of preference, though..

In Firefox 3.0 and later we actually show the title of the result if you've been there, which is far more useful, as well as use the title of the bookmark, followed by the term if you haven't visited it in the past.
This is either WONTFIX, or WORKSFORME depending on your view of things.
