Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7 Version = Mozilla Thunderbird 0.3 (20031014) (current milestone from mozilla.org) When I try to download too many messages at a time, I get an error from my news server that there are too many connections from my IP. This is to be expected. An alert box pops up with the error message and and OK button. I can click the OK button, but the alert dialog does not dismiss itself and the application hangs. The application must be killed and restarted. Haven't tested it with other errors as I haven't run across any other NNTP errors. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Try to download more messages than your NNTP server will allow. 2. Click OK to the resulting dialog box. Actual Results: Application hangs. Expected Results: The Alert dialog box should have disappeared and either (a) finish what the application was doing, or (b) abort all connections and allow the user to start over again.
