Can't click links/mouse loses focus

Details
After browsing a few news.com URL's, I went to the above referenced page and my
mouse pointer was not responding over the links, it would remain a black arrow
and not change to the hand pointer for a link. I tried a double-click and the
browser would highlight the text in the article instead of the link in the
column on the right side. Here is the output from my terminal window, with the
last message about the javascript repeated over and over.

This doesn't look like a problem with the JavaScript engine. Reassigning to
browser-general, in the hopes they can categorize it better.
