Details

When I go to http://slashdot.org and go to a news story, the page is generally fairly slow to load. But the worst part is that the drop down menus to select comment viewing preferences just don't really work (incredibly slow to come down, won't let me select anything at all). This has been slow for ages and pretty non-functional, but it appears to be even more broken in the latest nightly (12-29-99). These elements are probably buried in tables somehow on this page, I'm too tired to really poke through the HTML right now, will look at it later if I get a chance.
