Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031215 Firebird/0.7
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031107 Debian/1.5-3
When you delete all events from a calendar and then publish it, Mozilla performs
an HTTP PUT with Content-Type: text/calendar and Content-Length: 0 (i.e. no
body). If you try to refresh that calendar, Mozilla complains that the file is
invalid.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a new local calendar
2. Publish it on a WebDAV server somewhere (I used Zope 2 and a custom
HTTP-based application)
3. Add a new calendar and give the same location where you published it
Actual Results:
An alert dialog poped up saying:
This doesn't appear to be a valid file. Here's what I got back from
http://localhost:9673/test.ical:
Result:
[ OK ]
Expected Results:
Added a new empty calendar.
rfc2445 is extremely hard to read and understand. I do not know what the proper
representation of a calendar with no events should be.
