I am kind of new to this, but I noticed that when opening a menu, then clicking
a sub-menu, it will act as if the menu isn't there and point the click towards
whatever is behind the menu. Here is the way to do it:
1)Simply run mozilla
2)Click on the "Debug" menu
3)Click on the word "Verification"
4)It will activate the button behind it, "Open Directory"
It would be more useful if clicking on the sub-menu just made the sub-menu open
more quickly. Thanks -- Charles (sorry if this is a duplication)

Sairuh, I can reproduce this on the 200010408 Win32 build --- it's not
reproducible on Mac OS or Linux.
This sounds like a known bug, but I don't know of one off the top of my head.

able to repro with today's comm bits (2000010508) on NT. updated the summary,
too: haven't yet tested with today's bits on mac or linux (either not available
or broken).
this is a tricky bug! in order to reproduce it, you need to
1. select a *hierarchical* menu item from the menubar
2. move/nudge the mouse pointer so that (behind the open menu) there's
something clickable, such as a button in the Personal or Navigation Toolbars.
3. release the mouse button
result: the clickable item underneath is what responds. another example would
be to select File > New --make sure that the pointer is over the 'N' or 'e' of
New-- then release the mouse. nothing should happen (since nothing the New
submenu was selected anyway), but instead the Back button is clicked.

I think this is a dup of #15526. Anyone agree?

Ok, I'm marking this as a dup of bug #15526.
