Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7a) Gecko/20040115 Firebird/0.8.0+ Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7a) Gecko/20040115 Firebird/0.8.0+ With a webpage already loaded (anything containing a link within it), dragging any link from that webpage into the address bar does not replace the URL currently occupying the address bar. Rather it adds the new URL to the existing one. The location that the new URL is added is dependant upon the mouse's position when releasing the left mouse button. For example, if the current webpage loaded was http://www.mozilla.org and I wanted to drag the Mozilla Firebird 0.7 link (http://www.mozilla.org/products/firebird/) into the address bar. When I released my left mouse button, the cursor was between the m & the o of mozilla the resulting URL shown in the address bar would be: http://www.mhttp://www.mozilla.org/products/firebird/ozilla.org instead of just being http://www.mozilla.org/products/firebird/ Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.drag any link found on a webpage into the address bar 2. 3. Actual Results: the URL of the link being dragged into the address bar is inserted into the current URL, the point that the URL is inserted is dependant upon the mouse cursor's location when releasing the left mouse button. Expected Results: The URL from the dragged link should have replaced the old URL completly, instead of inserting itself like it currently does.
Is this a regression (i.e. did it do what you expected before)? Or are you suggesting a change in behaviour? If if did work before, what's the last build in which it worked for you?
