231543 - Deleted messages in POP folder remain on server when deleted locally

Description

20040109 WinXP

- Set it to leave messages on server but delete from server when deleted or
moved to another folder within Firebird.
- Get new messages
- Delete messages in your INBOX folder that were downloaded from the pop server.
- Empty trash

I checked my firewall traffic log, and nothing appeared after I deleted the
message or emptied the trash yet there were packets sent when recieving the mail.

Is the preference not getting applied?

POP server is mail.rpi.edu

is this a bug with the filter code or a pop bug? Could not tell from the description

I checked my firewall traffic log, and I don't see any attempted outgoing
packets when deleting an email or emptying from the trash. My assumption is that
no attempt is made to send a message to the server to delete the email.

If you can give me something I can try in order to troubleshoot, I'd be happy to
do it.
