Details

In the Cache category of the prefs you can press a Choose Folder... button to choose you own cache folder. There should be a help text to the folder dialog. The change is in PrefsWindow.js in line 140. From: var url = fileSpec.chooseDirectory( "" ); To: var url = fileSpec.chooseDirectory("Choose Cache Directory");
