Details

User-Agent: Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; uk-UA; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040113 After ATI driver caused blue screen death and restart of the system my Mozilla bookmark is gone if mozilla ran during the crash time. If the mailer would run, then my mail settings would be gone too (it happened before). It would be very wise of Mozilla dev team to make a backup of profile files before they are automatically regenerated. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Run mozilla 2. Crash the system (do not ask me how :) 3. Try to reopen mozilla and see bookmark gone Actual Results: Bookmark is just virgin, i.e. empty. Expected Results: I would expect it to backup the old bookmark, even if Mozilla found it to be corrupted.
IMHO this is a dupe of Bug 226720 (or Bug 193749).
