Details

User-Agent: Build Identifier: I deleted the Bookmark Toolbar Folder from Bookmarks on Firebird (taken from latest trunk om 20.01.2004) and after restarting the browser the BTF was recreated. I found that if I simply renamed it it would not be created anymore and I thus used this as a workaround. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Select manage Bookmarks. 2. Delete the bookmark Toolbar folder 3. Close the browser 4. Open the browser Actual Results: The BTF was recreated Expected Results: let the BTF be deleted as I deleted it on purpose
This is by design, apparently. Just to let you know, you can rename the BTF, remove the separator between it and the next bookmark (folder), and hide the toolbar across the top of the browser. It now becomes essentially just another folder. It will still be marked as the Bookmarks Toolbar Folder internally, but from the point of view of the user it's just a regular folder with a normal name. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 220932 ***
