233015 - Loss of all bookmarks after abnormal shutdown

After an abnormal shutdown, all of my bookmarks disappeared; the only ones
remaining are the few I had placed as buttons, (next to 'Home', 'Bookmarks').
But these remaining bookmarks are no-longer displayed as buttons and only appear
in the 'Bookmarks for default' section when hitting CTRL+B. This is why I don't
think that my 'bookmarks.html' file has simply been truncated (like bug 227331);
my apologies if it is the same bug.

In the absence of more info from the reporter, it looks very much like bug 193749
