I have Mozilla Mail/News application opened, commonly in fullscreen regime. All
three frames (left accounts frame, upper-right messages frame and lower-right
message preview frame) are open. I try to catch the vertical line to
horizontally resize the left frame. Mozilla dosen't render it properly, it stays
in original position, although there is some background motion visible.
I click the hide-button on vertical line so I close the lower-right message
preview frame. Suddenly I can move the horizontal line with no problem. I reopen
the message-preview frame, and it still works.
This bug mainly appears under Windows 98, and on some LTSP thin clients with
lower screen resolution (800x600, 640x400), connected to GNOME 1.4 Debian Woody
server. Under Windows it is more easy to work it around; the thin client
machines are harder to pursue.
One thing is clear however, problem only affects the vertical line.

See bug 188138 and bug 131733.
I noticed the bug on W98 1024x768, but after hiding the bottom-right image
preview frame, I'm able to move it.
On 800x600 (or less) thin clients, this is big problem, usually it's completely
impossible to set the frames size to needed shape.
I find this bug to be very similar to 131733, so I'm marking it as dupe.
