Details

User-Agent: Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040113 Whether the header is a separate box or window, or shown as part of the main message like Netscape 3.x and 4x used to do (I liked that), header displays should scroll so the entire set of header info can be displayed. Some messages have so many lines of header info that they extend below the bottom of the Mozilla window and cannot be displayed, even by minimizing parts of the menu at the top of the screen. There's no right-side-of-screen slider widget to scroll the header. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set the view menu's header selection to "all" 2. Display a message with a lot of header information 3. Click on the + to show the header info Actual Results: The display of header information extends below the bottom of the Mozilla mail window and is unavailable in the normal display. It shows in the message source, but that shouldn't be necessary. Expected Results: A scroll and slider widget should be created if the header extends beyond the viewable window area for the header info.
This is a very old complaint, and not one likely to be addressed anytime soon. See bug 41994, bug 9942, bug 56825; also bug 91662, for the same basic problem in the horizontal direction. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 151831 ***
