Up to Version 1.4 there was anything ok, by using dark select boxes but not
today - not anyone like white text on white bg.
hopefully all you have todo is to find the genus guy who wrote the codepart in
Mozilla 1.4 für select boxes und there background color also the usage of
multiple selections.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. just look at the example




This bug exists now for a very long time. On any new nightly build i hoped that
 some of you fixed the problem but it wasend so.

There are tow images on my example page one form Mozilla 1.4 where is works
mostly fine and the latest Mozilla Version. The Problem exists also on any
earlyers version 1.5x until today und Firebird, in "Quirx" or not.

This is a bug in the windows "themed" stuff.... and a duplicate.

Case 1) and 3) are bug 224974, but not sure about case 2).

There is no "case 2" here. Perhaps you mean attachment 141468 [details] with the
explanatory text "NO BUG". Resolving as dup.
