This bug isn't really about reporting a crash. This is meant to be a
dupe-catcher that we can use for those constant bug reports on crashes that even
the reporter can't reproduce. We know they're out there, and bringing back
Talkback will definitely help us start to track these better, but without
Talkback or a stacktrace, crash bugs without steps to reproduce are useless.
As a note, people on the CC list of this bug will see a fair bit of spam, since
I intend to dupe a large number of useless crash reports to this bug. I'll try
to remove people from the CC list as I go along, cut down the spam.

Well... I just wanted to note that I maybe had 2or 3 crashes of Firefox since
0.7. And it's my job to develop js-apps for browsers...
But since 1.0 I have at least 2 crashes a day, before while firefox loads a new
page.
I thought there were only bugfixes since RC1...
Is it possible for an extension to crash the browser? (If yes, then isn't it a
bug of the browser api? ;)
I hope someone can drop me a comment while i'm searching the changelog... [no
idea where to find it. :(]
Same here. We have a heavy JS gui. Firefox 1.0 PR, final and nightly build of
today (not mozilla 1.7.3-5 debian build) all crash without any problem.

I foud out that in 1.0.4 and 1.0.5 the plugin-compatibility problem (here it was
bettersearch and download manager tweak) caused the crashes. disabling the
problematic plugins helped in 1.0.4 but the update to 1.0.5 enabled them again
for no reason and it ontinued, until i found it out.
now in 1.0.6 everything works fine again
running W98Se, Zonealarm, Vet and Spamtrap. random crashes. to restart, close
all sessions, then use control/alt/delete to check if Firefox or any Firefox
lines are still running. if so, delete and then reopen - usually works for a
while but is becoming a nuisance. running V1.06 which seems to be a beta version
good luck and thanks

this happened to me quite sometime today, when i logged into igoogle. i have added some gadgets in the igoogle. May be it is because, Mozilla is unable to handle some of them. The version i am using is Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b4) Gecko/2008030714 Firefox/3.0b4.
There was not much of problem when i was using the previous beta. One point may be that i have added some more gadgets after updating to 3.4 beat. It might be problem with the new beta or the gadgets. Hope this helps
