I prefer to display my inbox mail with descending order  selected (View?sort by>
descending)
This setting is not retained consistantly

sometimes when starting mail module the dispay has returned to ascending oder

Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Descending order selected
2.Most times when mail module started descending order dispayed
3.intermittantly order reverts to ascending



Expected Results:  
Should always show inbox mail order as previously selected

When you reopen the inbox, is it after closing mozilla completely?

HAve you received new mail since last opening?

This information is stored in a file called "inbox.msf" in your profile directory.

Can you verify that you have this file?

Mozilla does fully close and yes most times new mail is recieved

The file inbox.msf does exist in my profile directory
