In a build from 3/9. I don't see a panel for security or return receipts in the account manager.

I bet this plagues seamonkey too. Looks like problems with mdn-service.js and smime-service.js no longer getting registerd as components
umm my builds aren't generating a compreg.dat anymore either in addition to JS components no longer getting registered. I don't get a compreg.dat in my components directory. That can't be possible. I must be missing something.
this was caused by the checkin to Bug #235882 which changed the component manager and keeps it from loading JS components.

I backed out the bug that caused this regression.

Are you sure it wasn't the extra semicolon that I fixed earlier today that caused the regression?
the only comment I saw from you was "fixing a leak caused by the previous checkin". I didn't realize you were fixing something else too..so I didn't check. sorry!
I realized after the checkin that it broke other things -- including all JS components.
aaah...well do want to back out my backout tonight? I just want to make sure the JS component stuff works before the freeze. I'm up for leaving as is or undoing my backout.
