When I start Firefox, all the my links back to "unvisited" status. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Click on a link. 2. Close Firefox. 3. Start up Firefox. The link goes back to "unvisited" Actual Results: All of my links went back to "univisited" and the History sidebar was empty. Expected Results: History should be rememberd even after Firefox is closed.
This WFM using Firefox 0.8. Can you reproduce this with a clean profile? (delete or move away your %AppData%\Phoenix) directory. Also, make sure you did a clean install of Firefox 0.8. Did you install over a previous install? If so, you may want to try to reinstall into an empty directory in conjunction with using a clean profile.
I tried re-installing with a clean profile and had no problems with the history. I investigated further into my original installation and discovered the problem. The setting for the number of days was too high. I had set it to the highest possible number (12 thousand and something, I believe). After I changed it to a more reasonable setting (like 365), the history started working correctly again.
