Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206 Firefox/0.8 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206 Firefox/0.8 Many times when reading an email we come across a product or company name. So we want to get more details about that. It might not be link just a plain text, so I double-click on the word and copy it. Next I open a new tab and paste the word and hit control+enter, which will fill http://www. and .com. We have to position the cursor in address bar and press enter. Later I found out that you can customize toolbar with GO button. After that it was easier. Just paste the text and click on GO button with ctrl pressed. GO button should be on by default as it is in case with IE. But than many will say that for google search GO button should be there. I have customized my toolbar with previous, next, refresh, Add tab, print, address bar and go button only. Many users will not come to know about GO button, so it should be on by default. I found this type of bug for Mozilla so I posted it for FireFox. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Expected Results: GO button should be displayed by default
See also bug 116578, same bug for Seamonkey.
Summary: GO Button show by default → Show GO button by default
