Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040113 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040113 I use an IMAP account with server-side mail filtering. When I start Mail, it only checks Inbox for new messages. After I manually press Get Msgs (or Ctrl+T), the other folders (which have the "Check this folder for new messages" option turned on) are also checked. I tested it also on Linux - the Linux version checks all folders (that ones that have to be checked) directly on startup. Strange... P.S. I noticed this behaviour in all Mozilla version I ever had - i.e. all final versions since 0.9.8 and also some alpha's and beta's. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Subscribe an IMAP account. 2. Set some folders (other than Inbox) to "Check for new messages". 3. Quit Mozilla completely (also the QuickLaunch). 4. In another IMAP client, mark some messages in Inbox and other folders as unread. Alternatively, if you use server-side filtering, you can send yourself some messages from anywhere etc. 5. Start Mozilla Mail. Actual Results: Only Inbox is checked for new messages. Expected Results: Check all folders (which have the "Check this folder for new messages option turned on") for new messages.
